we arrived at the peak of
SAKURA(cherry blossom) season
this was like the Lombard Street of
Sakura's
waiting for the train at Sannoimya
Station bound for Kyoto
View from the train
Vending machines are everywhere you
turn, like this!
Geisha's of Kyoto... are they real?
Kiyomizu Shrine
More beauty than we ever imagined
This is Slope shopping off of the Kiyomizu
Shrine. It reminded dee of the Realto Bridge in Venice
Now this is what i call a Japanese Garden!
Marayuma Park....Sonia loved this place, as
did 5 million of the locals
We found this cafe next to the Golden
Temple. ISHIDA COFFEE, The Pizza Toast was amazing. As you can
see on the Menu, ¥450
On the grounds of the Ryoanji Temple(rock
garden)
Heien Shrine
Fushimi Inari...Some
will remember this place from the film, MEMOIRS OF A GEISHA.
This is truly magical---->VIDEO
PONCHOTO STREET
This has to be the most
romantic street in Kyoto. When you turn on this street from the
main road,
all noises are magically silenced. This is where we saw a real
Geisha.
clik the train, it goes to Tokyo
